I’m Ruth Lawson and I offer counselling, psychotherapy and coaching to individuals and groups in South East London and Norfolk. In London I work from Beckenham, Bromley, Kent. My approach is founded in my core training, which is Transactional Analysis, and incorporates aspects of humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural approaches. I work in a relational style with you.

I also have a therapy practice in Norfolk in the village of Snettisham, close to the wild North Norfolk coast, and have a passion for working outdoors in alliance with the natural world if this is resonates with you.

Outdoor work embraces elements of Somatic healing and movement and working with the more-than-human in a transpersonal approach.

The best way to get in touch is to book your free assessment call. During this call we will be able to assess if working therapeutically with me is appropriate for you and the issues that you are facing. Also on this call you will have chance to ask me any burning questions that you might have. From there we can organise an initial 50 minute assessment session. During this first session we will explore what has brought you to counselling, you can get a sense of me as a person and we can decide if we are right for each other. I will be able to answer your questions about therapy and tell you how to proceed if this is what you decide.
